PROCUREMENT /MATERIALS MANAGER

As a result of expansion and growth plan, a group of Companies in the business of instrumentation and Control System, Engineering, procurement, installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Services in the Oil and Gas Industry have vacancy for this position:

Procurement/Materials Manager

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering with at least 2nd class division. 
Masters in relevant engineering disciple will be an added advantage. 
Must be a COREN registered and Chartered Member of supply chain Management. 
At least 10-15 years experience in Oil and Gas facilities design obtained from reputable engineering firms. 
Good understanding of applicable industry Standard and Specification in line with preferred international Oil. 
Proficiency in the use of applicable engineering Inventory software and Microsoft Office tools.

Job Scope:

Coordination vendors manufacturer lists 
Coordination of procurement activities and interface Management with Engineering and Construction Teams. 
Coordination of Requisition, scheduling and Expediting of various Long Lead Equipment and Bulk Team Items Procurement. 
Other relevant duties that will be assigned by the Head of Department
